November 2020 UPDATE
In order to facilitate the safe gathering of our church family as well as follow the national and provincial guidelines in regards to meeting, the church leadership has decided to suspend all men's and women's groups, and much of our children's ministry. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we conscientiously adapt our meeting practices for the safety of our congregation.

Wimborne Alliance Church – COVID-19 Awareness and Response Plan
As a Christian community, our individual and collective response to the COVID-19 pandemic that is sweeping the globe, must be decidedly Christian. Our response must be guided by a firm belief and trust in an all-powerful and sovereign God, that has chosen His people to be His light and presence here on earth. Our response is to be guided not by fear, but be one of ‘power, love and self-control’ (2 Timothy 1:7). Our actions, attitudes and words are to be guided, as always, by love, discernment and grace. This includes our response to the governments actions and recommendations, which may cause some inconvenience in our daily lives.
As Christians, we must consider the well-being of the most vulnerable among us, particularly the elderly, those with health issues, compromised immunity systems and respiratory difficulties. Children seem to be mildly affected, if at all, by COVID-19, but can carry the virus to others that may be more susceptible.
Will we continue to meet for worship on Sunday mornings?
Yes, we will! We are working hard to prepare a short video that will be ready for Sunday morning that has various components of a worship service. We will continue on in our sermon series through Psalm 119, and are working on an interactive on-line platform with which we can interact with each other, much like we do in Sunday School. We look forward to 'connecting' with you online in the weeks to come! We will also have a mid-week video in which we will have encouragements and updates.
Thank you for your understanding, support and involvement as we continue to worship and work together to be ‘salt and light’ to each other, and to the communities that God has placed us in.
The elders will continue to meet and develop our course of response and action as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to take its course. We ask that you pray fervently for wisdom and discernment for us, but also for our health care leaders and front line workers, and our leaders as they make daily decisions that impact many people.
God bless,
Pastor Mark, for the elders – Ross, Josh & Martin
